How to make your own ChainMaile

Basics | Patterns

Some avid reader sent me a bunch of animated gif's to
give a little animated demonstration for piecing the links
together for the various patterns.  Whoever that was,
thank you.  If you let me know who you are, I'll put your
name here and give you the credit.

The process of making chainmail is not very difficult.
It is, however, very time consuming.  At least it's easy
once you get the hang of it.  Some suppliers are so good at
making chainmail, that it is confortable to wear even over bare skin.
Evidently it is actually possible to make chainmail that doesn't
pull hair or scratch.
